解雇
米プロバスケットボール、ＮＢＡで初の日本人選手となった田臥勇太（２４）が１８日、所属のサンズから解雇された。球団が発表した。
田臥は１１月３日の開幕戦（対ホークス）でデビューを果たし、１０分間の出場で７得点を記録。ＮＢＡで２番目に低い身長１７５センチながら、スピーディーなプレーが全米の関心を集めた。しかし選手層が厚く、好調なチームの中で出場は２４試合中４試合。いずれも大差のついた終盤の短時間に限られていた。（Yahoo）
