バスケットボール日本リーグ機構（ＪＢＬ）に今季限りでの脱退届を提出した新潟（スーパーリーグ）とさいたま（日本リーグ＝ＪＢＬの２部に相当）を中心に、６チームによる日本初のプロリーグ（男子）が２４日、発足した。（朝日新聞）
